AMH President Serves as Panelist at Sweden–Malaysia Green Transport Forum
The Association of Malaysian Hauliers (AMH) is pleased to share that its President was invited to serve as a panelist at the “Pioneer the Possible: Green Transport Forum”, a strategic collaborative initiative between Sweden and Malaysia aimed at advancing sustainable freight and logistics solutions. Held under the theme “Transforming Freight and Logistics for a Sustainable Future,” the forum convened key stakeholders, including logistics operators, fleet owners, policymakers, academia, and technology providers, to exchange insights and explore cross-sector strategies for greener supply chains.
During the panel session titled “Reimagining Freight & Logistics,” AMH President Mr. Soo highlighted the critical role of hauliers within the national freight ecosystem. He emphasised the importance of enabling infrastructure, pragmatic and inclusive policies, and collaborative cost-sharing mechanisms to ensure a fair and practical transition towards low-emission transport. Through its participation, AMH reaffirmed its commitment to supporting freight decarbonisation efforts while ensuring that industry players are not left behind in the journey towards a more sustainable logistics future.
